Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Tibetan Shambhala online store, website and related services (the “Store”). By using the Store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you.

Store Use

You may use the Store only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information when placing an order or contacting us.

Product Information

We aim to describe each piece carefully, including its subject, form, workmanship, condition and visual character. Materials, techniques, provenance, handmade status and similar details are stated only where confirmed for the individual item. Images and display settings may cause minor differences in colour or scale.

Pricing

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the Store and may change before an order is accepted. Applicable shipping charges, duties, taxes or other charges are shown or determined as part of the checkout and delivery process where available.

Order Acceptance

Submitting an order does not by itself guarantee acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order where an item is unavailable, information is materially incorrect, payment cannot be authorised, fraud is reasonably suspected, or fulfilment is not possible. If payment has already been collected for an order that we cancel, the amount collected will be returned through the applicable payment method.

Payment

Payment must be made through the methods offered at checkout. Payment processing is provided by Shopify and applicable payment providers, subject to their own terms and security procedures.

Shipping

Shipping availability, rates and available services depend on destination and are displayed at checkout. Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates. Our current Shipping information is available at Shipping.

Returns and Refunds

Returns, refunds, damaged items, wrong items and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

Intellectual Property

The Store’s text, branding, layout, graphics and original website content are owned by or licensed to Tibetan Shambhala and may not be copied, reproduced or commercially exploited without permission, except as allowed by applicable law.

Prohibited Use

You must not misuse the Store, interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, use the Store for fraud or unlawful activity, or infringe the rights of another person.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tibetan Shambhala is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the Store. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong SAR), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your place of residence.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Store applies from its stated effective date and does not retroactively remove mandatory rights.
